Estancia Cristina Upsala Classic is an excursion that combines a boat trip to the Upsala Glacier area, departing from Punta Bandera Port, with a day at Estancia Cristina. You'll enjoy views of the Upsala Glacier from the boat, visit its historic Folk Museum and Chapel, and take an easy hike to a waterfall located near the ranch.

If you book the tour with transportation from El Calafate, we will pick you up from your hotel starting at 7:15 am and then head to Puerto de la Cruz, located at Punta Bandera, 47 km from the city. If you are taking the tour from the port, you should arrive at 8:30 am.

The boat departs at 9:00 am, sailing along the North Arm of Lake Argentino until reaching the Upsala Channel, from where you can see the western face of the glacier surrounded by enormous icebergs. From the boat, you can enjoy the impressive mountain landscapes before continuing along the Cristina Channel, entering the estancia (ranch).

Upon arrival at Estancia Cristina and disembarking, a guided tour of the Costumbrista Museum, located in the old shearing shed, is offered, followed by lunch at the restaurant on site.

After lunch, there will be an easy hike to the Caterina River, located near the ranch where there is a waterfall. After this hike, we will return to the historic Estancia Cristina, where we will take a stroll around the grounds and visit the historic chapel.

After the tour, they will board again to return to the Port of Punta Bandera, arriving in El Calafate around 8:00 pm
