The Big Ice excursion is a challenging trekking experience on the Perito Moreno Glacier, ideal for the most adventurous. The tour begins with a boat trip on the Brazo Rico arm of Lake Argentino and a hike through the Patagonian forest to reach the glacier. Equipped with crampons, participants walk on the ice to explore caves, crevasses, and internal lagoons of the glacier.
During the journey, a specialized guide accompanies the group, providing information about the formation and behavior of ice.
At the end, enjoy a break with spectacular views of the glacier before returning to El Calafate.
